Police Powers

This Blog was first post on 18 March 2024.

Following from the previous Blog if the missing Envelope with a Red Wax Seal was found then Forensic Police could fingerprint the Envelope for traces of Evidence.

I believe when there is Probable Cause to do so, the Police are allowed to Raid a Property and Intimidation is also permitted.

I understand the Police are also permitted to request an Open Budget Scenario for the Victim of a crime, when the Victim cannot afford the Legal Fees.

When are the Police obliged to find the Victim of a Crime, a Legal Entity to solve the Crime?

Public Notoriety may initiate work in the Legal Sector. Click here for information on how.

More on when Legal Entities are obliged to Swear an Oath and the Legal Ramifications later.

What is the Role of the Commonwealth Ombudsman?

1 Complaints against the Australian Federal Police (AFP) involve issues like officer misconduct, procedural failures, or corruption, managed by the AFP Workplace Issues and Complaints Resolution team (WICR) or Professional Standards (PRS). Serious concerns can also be directed to the Commonwealth Ombudsman.

I made report to Police that was not taken seriously.

I have now made a complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
Click here for a link to their website. See below for their response.

If you have made a report on my behalf relating to the missing Bonds and the Police have not acted upon your report you can also contribute to my complaint to the Commonwealth Ombudsman about Police by using the following number:

Commonwealth Ombudsman Number: 2023-107008

To use the number above you will need to use the Update Your Complaint button to the upper right of the website.

Temporary Update

Unfortunately, to date the response from the Commonwealth Ombudsman is the following:

The investigation decisions made by AFP – ACT Policing
The Ombudsman does not have role in the decisions by AFP on what to, or not to investigate. Our Office accepts that the AFP has responsibility to determine what to investigate with the guidance of the Ministerial Direction issued under section 37(2) of the Australian Federal Police Act 1979 (Cth) as well as the AFP’s Case Categorisation and Prioritisation Model (CCPM).

Possible corrupt behaviour of AFP Officers and/or other Australian Government Officials
Any claims of illegal or corrupt behaviour by AFP Officers or other Australian Government Officials are not for the Ombudsman to investigate and are within the jurisdiction of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
